Overview

The ComputerWise CCD-81T is a rugged handheld barcode scanner which features a high performance CCD optical sensor. The high reliability of CCD-81T scanner stands upon a design with no moving parts and a completely solid state scanner system.

Operation

The unit operates on a 660nm visible red LED array which illuminates the barcode being scanned with bright visible light beam to insure rapid and accurate decoding of bar codes up to 82 millimeters wide. The standard model produces a TTL output signal of the scanned data in a wand emulation format (Code 39). The standard model also is equipped with a DIN-5 connector that is compatible on all ComputerWise TNET Terminals, Ethernet Terminals, and Ethernet Workstations

Configurations

Other models are available with RS232 or PC keyboard wedge interfaces. Re-configuration of the CCD-81T can be easily done by scanning barcodes in the users manual.
