Overview

The ComputerWise ET100 Family of Ethernet Shop Floor Workstations connects directly to your LAN (Local Area Network) and provide reliable, real-time network access to data collected in your manufacturing environment. Designed to support such applications as inventory control, WIP (Work in Progress), labor tracking, access control, time and attendance, and other data collection applications, the ET100 Family of Ethernet Workstations puts you in control of your critical manufacturing data.

The ET100 Ethernet Workstation can be used as a "DOS Client" workstation on either a Novell or Windows NT network. In such a capacity, the workstation can run software applications residing on its flash disk or on a file server which in turn can utilize any resource on the file server as well as other resources available on the LAN and beyond (print server, FAX server, Internet gateway, etc.)

The ET100 Ethernet Workstation can also serve as stand-alone DOS based computer within the constraints of its abbreviated resources to provide an industry standard software run-time platform in a compact form factor. Local resources such as the on-board flash disk can be used to store application related program and data files. The available RS-232 serial port can be used to interface to local equipment such as a scale, gauge, or printer. ET100 Ethernet Workstations include a user-configurable application program. Operator Console Specifications

The ET100 family of Ethernet Workstations offer varying keyboard and display options to facilitate optimum functionality for your specific application. Optional console input is available for bar code, magstripe, and touch key memory readers. The ET100 workstation models differ in keyboard size, display size, and mounting options.
